Transylvania is home to many weird and wonderful things, but Modiwo is the most wonderful of them all.
Modiwo are setting their sights on success, and they aren’t stopping there. Their recent release is a single titled ‘Cosmic Bus’ which is a beautifully arranged, however spirit lifting tune. Drawing from different sectors of Europe, including Romania, Ukraine, Moldova and Hungary, each player in the band brings a new element.
Modiwo’s beginnings however, are a major high point for the band, and something they still explore and employ to this day. Originally formed to perform and bring music to orphanages and homes for the elderly, they were experiencing a vast love for what they were doing and what they stood for. Recently they were involved with a project called ‘Fruit Fusion’, in which shows are held and instead of paying with money, the audience pays with fruit, which is then given to local orphanages, in conjunction with The Bureau of Children’s’ Rights Protection.
With their disco dance fusions, Modiwo are sure to be on their way to the top.
