Homesick Mick Releases Christmas Single ‘Prisoner To The Past’

Musician and social activist, Homesick Mick, has released his festive single ‘Prisoner To The Past’ on the back of his protest against the corruption of Sir Philip Green.

Having built a social media campaign against the billionaire tycoon in an attempt to make him pay back the BHS pensions, Homesick Mick has now released his debut EP Black Hole Friday that gives us a taster of what’s to come on his upcoming album in the new year.

‘Prisoner To The Past’ is a catchy Christmas tune that doesn’t adhere to the typical conventions of a festive song. Homesick Mick’s trademark folk rock style shines through along with a video featuring what appears to be John Lennon and Paul McCartney!

The upcoming album, The Mysterious Abduction & Return of Homesick Mick was recorded in a number of different studios and was mastered at Abbey Rd. The well-travelled singer has even found himself performing across the UK at festivals such as Cambridge Folk Festival and Wychwood Festival.
