Alonestar, aka Jethro Sheeran, returns with single ‘Lovelorn’ exploring the idea of heartbreak and unrequited love. Featuring the stunning vocals of Rosie Ribbons, prominent drum beat recorded by Massive Attack’s Damon Reece and the appearance of Girl Aloud’s Sarah Harding in the breath-taking music video, ‘Lovelorn’ is about to hit the music industry by storm.
With the help of Massive Attack’s guitarist Angelo Bruchini, Sheeran produced the addictive track in attempt to truly show the emotion behind the lyrics. Jethro and Rosie wrote the single together but he explains it as “the strongest and most powerful song I have written & produced to date, it reflects my new sound and style. It’s something fresh and different to anything else out there at the moment. I dug deep to exercise the darkness in this track, and fell into the depths of my soul when coming up with the concept.”
Related to Ed Sheeran it was expected that Jethro would hit the big time but no one was prepared for this amount of success. From going to number 3 in the iTunes chart with his debut album, to winning 2 EIA Awards and 2 Exposure Music Awards, Alonestar is one to watch out for.
