M’GOO blend jazz, pop and rock in new single ‘I Didn’t Want To Hear You Say “I’m Leaving”‘

Although jazz trained, M’GOO return with a blend of jazz, pop and rock to create their latest single ‘I Didn’t Want To Hear You Say “I’m Leaving”‘. Based on a true story by Glen Washington from Snap Fish, the single follows the story of a couple that are due to marry, but after a visit to a fortune teller call off the wedding.

The group base all of their tracks on true stories and explore each story’s topic via a podcast that will be released with each track from the upcoming album ‘LOVE AND ALL THAT _ _ _ _’. Vocalist and composer of M’GOO, Mike Meiguh uses the story as inspiration to score the music with a very basic structure. The rest of the band then take the track from a fresh perspective and re-write exploring different emotions.
