Rockizm Brings the 80’s Classic ‘Hanging on a String’ into the 21st Century

London based producer Rockizm teams up with stunning singer Jezzi and talented rapper Clixx to release their refreshing new take on ‘Hanging on a String’.

Raised by a musical family, Rockizm has always been surrounded by music. His father played the saxophone, his grandfather was a blues singer and guitarist and various other family members are producers and managers for names like Courtney Pine and Tim & Karl Blacksmith. Originally a singer, Rockizm felt that his passions lay in the background, in the production/remixing of the songs. He then went on to remix songs for Neyo, Busta Rhymes, Usher and even James Brown. He also produced and developed artists for his very own brand, Rockizm Music Production Team, this included Naila Boss who he to two top ten UK hits. Rockizm is now using his immaculate skills to develop and support new artists like J-Sol, Lisa Mercedez, Ny and Jezzi as well as numerous more, all of which will feature on The Rockizm EP due to drop later this year.

This modern re-make of the 80’s classic by Loose Ends really makes a statement. A faster beat launches you into the first verse, a perfect combination of flawless vocals from Jezzi and bubbly synth. You’re then propelled into Clixx’s tongue twisting rhymes which contrast well with Jezzi’s distinct vocals. Rockizm’s invigorating new view of ‘Hanging on a String’ is certainly one to look out for, having set out with the aim of bringing it into the 21st century it’s fair to say he’s achieved his goal.

‘Hanging On a String’ is released 26th August
